Every July, Pack 968 hosts the Pacifica District Soapbox Derby.  This is an event that has become an El Segundo tradition where Cub Scouts from all over the South Bay and elsewhere are invited to build cars and race down Grand Avenue.  It is an event that few Cub Scout Packs have the opportunity to take part in let alone host.  As a member of Pack 968, your Scout will have this rare and exciting opportunity.
